I have Cath Kidston's bag too

Hello friends,

Finally I have my own Cath Kidston's bag! Hoooooray..but, it is a HANDMADE! Yup finally I managed to sew it by following the instruction from the Cath Kidston's book as posted here.

The materials are from the book itself which consist of duct cotton, buttons and Cath Kidston's label. It was my first time using duct cotton and damn, it was so thick and hard to sew. It's my first time too, to sew a circle with sewing machine which was so tricky. At the end, I hand sew all the circles area. Hahahahaha.... Anyway, here is the result :)

For a meanwhile, my friends and I have engaged into a sewing class and the subject is 'Baju Kurung'. This class was held at our office every Friday lunch break. One way to consume our break time with a great activity :) Hopefully, I'm able to sew a decent cloth for myself (at least!).

Our teacher was great too. She bought the essential tools for us like below. Yup she bought it all since it was hard to find a any sewing store near our office or my home. Lucky us! Can't wait for the next class though.

Pssst... my Picasa account finally full! I never thought that I've posted so much pictures in here :(. So, every month I need to bear the storage cost to maintain this blog :(

Stay tuned for new masking/washi tapes girls!

Before I end this posting, let me share with you cloth that take my breath away. It's a simple denim shirt with embroidery details on the pockets. I want! I want! I want!

70% of my browsing activities are looking for a great articles, news, images, diy ideas and tutorials of these kind of things. Of course I posted most of my findings here as this is my blog and I called it as a personal creative directory. The posting is for my references and kind of appreciation which I should re-read it from time to time.

It's great if this kind of posting will get acknowledgement from readers. I would say that 99% of posting that shares some other creative people works or products highlights will come with links. People from here will go (should go!) to the original posting and of course they will get higher visitors (hopefully). So I believe that I contribute something to the original writers or the posting owners. I don't have the intention to get credits from other people hard works. I love them. I love creative people. I'm dying to be like them. They are my inspirational!

What I wanted to say here is that, read carefully and it is advisable to go to the original posting. Credit them if you like it at the original website. Don't credit me for other people works. I'm not worth I'm only sharing. There are great people behind the said posting and we really need to appreciate them.

Cath Kidston's Craft Books Box Set

Hello,

Hoorah... I got myself a very cute sewing book set that is Cath Kidston's Craft Books Box Set from Kinokuniya KLCC (RM119.90). Please noted that I bought it because it's super CUTE.

You may think it was expensive but it's not because in one set, you will get Sew!, Patch! and Stitch!. In the market, every one of it will cost you around RM50++. Apart from that, they give all patterns drawings for Sew! and a fabric with button and Cath Kidston label for one of the sewing project. Wow, I'm so excited!

Ok going through Cath Kidston's website is killing my heart. I wish that they have outlets in Malaysia :(..
