Cath Kidston's Craft Books Box Set

Hello,

Hoorah... I got myself a very cute sewing book set that is Cath Kidston's Craft Books Box Set from Kinokuniya KLCC (RM119.90). Please noted that I bought it because it's super CUTE.

You may think it was expensive but it's not because in one set, you will get Sew!, Patch! and Stitch!. In the market, every one of it will cost you around RM50++. Apart from that, they give all patterns drawings for Sew! and a fabric with button and Cath Kidston label for one of the sewing project. Wow, I'm so excited!

Ok going through Cath Kidston's website is killing my heart. I wish that they have outlets in Malaysia :(..

Reading Corner

Hello,

For me, decoration is very tough work. It's tiring especially in making decision, on the design and furniture selection. I would say that my home decoration is simple, but it's tooooo simple and booooooring. So, decoration is not my field. I wish I have large money so that I can hire any professional to decorate my house.

Anyway, there is one area in my house that quite empty. I'm thinking of to turn that area to become a reading section. The style is either Option A or Option B. Option A is my favourite as it's simple, modern and colorful. Option B is a mature part of me. It's still simple, but there's some classy and vintage elements.

Hurm, which one?

iPhone App: Goodreads

Hi,

Have you heard about Goodreads? Well, if you love books you may notice about this social books group. I've heard about it but never care to join the services. Somehow today I register and happily engaged with Goodread.

Official website: http://www.goodreads.com/
App for iPhone (free): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/goodreads/id355833469?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D6

With Goodreads, you can add books, reviews, and update your reading progress. Apart from that, you can add best quote from your reading. What best is that we can choose a lot of publication for every book we add (as long as there is any other member add the publication book).

Like other social website, you can add profile picture, add friend, follow other members, feeds of your following and friends and so on.

This is how it's look in our profile.

From our collections, the website can recommend suitable books for us. Higher recommendation from the website to me according my registered books are Classics, Crime and Fiction & Fantasy. After registering all my books then I realised that I have read so many classic books. Well actually, it's my current obsession especially with Sherlock Holmes series.

Do you wonder how I manage to add most of our book in a day? Because the app allow us to add book by scanning the bar code. Once scanned, the app will search the correct book and we can add it to our account. How fantastic is that! :)

Anyway, if you like to follow or add me as friend, just click at 'Currently Reading Book' at bottom-right of this blog. It will bring you to my account.

Sharing is caring :)

Just discovered that Goodreads too has e-book for classic collection and it's free :)

Little Black Dress Books

Hi,

There is a very popular word saying that 'Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover'. For me, this phases is invalid since I do choose a book by its cover. Furthermore, if the word is so true, why publisher paid so much money on the design of the cover? It shows that people nowadays takes into consideration of the book cover when making a decision in purchasing. If the book is super beautiful and super cute, I can't resist it at all. Happy mode!

One of the publisher that sells book with a great and cute cover with an affordable prices is Little Black Dress. In Malaysia, books by Little Black Dress is only RM21.90. If you go to BookXcess (Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya) you can get the books at approximately RM19.50.

Here are some of Little Black Dress Books with a great cover.

Not Another Bad Date
Honey Trap
He Loves Lucy
The Art of French Kiss
Sugar and Spice
Testing Kate
The Forever Summer
Getting Away With It

The website of Little Black Dress too is super cute. You can visit the website at http://www.littleblackdressbooks.com/index.html. The website offer a directory off all books available under their label. Apart from that, they have a very good connection with readers by offering contest, latest wallpaper for Little Black Dress and Facebook Group Link. So just visit the official website for more.
