DIY Glitter iPhone Case

Hello.

Someone email me asking about what kind of mod podge to use to make glitter phone case like in the video. Well, you guys can use basic mod podge that is matte-mat-mate.

*Please noted that I've stop selling mod podge :) It's just a one shot selling activity only (for fun!).

Okay, this is my version of glitter iPhone case. I use Martha Stewart's acrylic paints with satin finishing, matte-mat-mate mod podge and glitters :)

iPhone: Assistive Touch

Hi,

Currently my iPhone4 home button does not working properly. To solve this problem, I activate Assistive Touch that come with IOS 6. I'm not sure if you can activate Assisstive touch if you use jailbreak because now I don't use jailbreak anymore :)

This is how Assistive Touch look like. The home button appear at the screen and you can use it like your physical home button. Don't worry, the Assistive Touch screen is not that big all the time. When you are not using it, only one icon (its transparent like the above image) like the 'Gestures' will appear on your screen. The icon can be move around on your screen anytime you like. Once you touch the icon, the screen for Home Button will appear.

Follow below step if you want to activate the Assistive Touch.

1. Go to Setting and choose General



2. Choose Accessibility

 3. Choose Assistive Touch



4. Activate Assistive Touch

I love Assistive Touch because it provide a simpler screen capture function. Read my previous posting about screen capture here and here. From the Assistive Touch (Refer first image), just touch 'Device', 'More' and choose 'Screenshot'. It's so easy and very responsive :) I loike!

Hope this tutorial will help you if you are facing the same problem with me. No, I'm not changing my phone to iPhone5 since I'm not a GEEK :) The phone still in a great condition and I love it so much.

Currently I bought these two albums on iTunes. I think that their music was great and I want original copies of these two albums. I love Taylor Swift so much and this purchase was mainly to support the girl. It's a worth spending.

I'm not so into Katy Perry so much but most of the songs in the latter album below was a big hit. If Taylor Swift focusing on a love and breakup subject, Katy Perry sing an inspiring and motivating song. It's catchy and fun for my ear.

Hurm... whats next? When browsing iTunes, I realized that I'm not into a singer so much. I'm more into a song. But, to spent on a song instead of a full album is a waste as one song will cost you around $.69 - $1.30 whilst an album will cost you around $7 - $12. It's saving to invest on album instead of songs.

The question is, what album is next? Headache!

iPhone App: Feeling so kawaii with Between

I found a great and so cute app called Between. It's a private app for couple. Here, you and your partner connected and every information is privately shared between the both of you.

Since it's private, you may want to save the passcode. It's more secure in that way. You can set different tone for notification and chat received. And of course the tone is cute too.

Update on How To Screen Capture Your iPhone

Hi,

Referring to the previous post here on steps to screenshot our phone screen, I think that it's not easy to use Home Button. Home Button standard instruction is to go to 'Home'. It seem that there is a conflict when we add function to screenshot our phone screen by using Home Button.

After some research, I found that actually there is a standard 'Take Screenshot' available in 'Activator', one of Jailbreak iPhone applications. It's more easy with 'Take Screenshot' if compared with the previous 'Home Button' setting.

Steps to activate 'Take Screenshot' as following:

1. Choose Activator

2. Choose Anywhere

3. Choose Two Finger Slide In Gesture. There is another option but I prefer this one since I've never set any Two Finger instruction for my phone. So it less confusing and easy to remember.

4. Choose your gesture preferences. I like From Screen Top :)

5. Select Take Screenshot and it is done :)

As mentioned previously, this way of capturing our screen is much more easier :) Hope that this posting helpful for you :D

iPhone App: Do It (Tomorrow)

Hi,

Today I want to share about Do It (Tomorrow). Another app for to do list but it is more simpler as the to do list is for today and tomorrow. If you fail to complete your to do list today, the uncompleted task will be carried to tomorrow task.

I like this app for its simplicity and easy to use. It's not a fancy app but enough to list down our task for two days. But if you like to plan your task for the whole week/month, this app does not help much. If it is the case, you can use Awesome Note as previously posted here.

~To add task list, just tyoe at '+ add a new task list'.
~To mark as complete, just tap at the task.
~To change the task list from today to tomorrow, just tap at the arrow. However, if you fail to complete the task at the end of the day, it will automatically add the uncompleted task to tomorrow task list.
~To delete, click 'Edit' and delete button will appear.
~To arrange the task list up and down, click 'Edit' and from there you can change it.

How to Screen Capture on iPhone

In many months, I'm searching ways or free iPhone app to capture my iPhone screen. Mostly, I want this screen capture for blog posting relating to iPhone. and tadaaaaaaaaaaa, here are steps on how to capture your iPhone screen for free!

I'm using iPhone 4 with jailbreak :)

1. Choose Activator

2. Choose Anywhere

3.Choose Short Hold at Home Button

4. Select Sleep Button and it's done

5. To capture your phone screen, just Short Hold your Home Screen button and every images will be saved to Photos.

Decorating my iPhone Case with MT

Hi,

Currently I'm a little bit obsessed with MT and always thinking so hard on how to use it. So this time, I'm decoring my iPhone 4 case with my own MT :)

Horay.. I'm not sure this is related or not but I successfully transform my messy-storing-room to a more tidy room. This is the room that I stored all my books and crafting tools and materials. And it's messy! After a year, my books become yellowish and I think that I shall unpack it all. I don't have a bookshelf yet. Thus I used three boxes and arrange it to look like a horizontal book shelf. :) It's look like I'm having a picnic. I need to find a center flower for the indoor picnic sheet asap. :) Love it!

Hi,

Have you heard about Goodreads? Well, if you love books you may notice about this social books group. I've heard about it but never care to join the services. Somehow today I register and happily engaged with Goodread.

With Goodreads, you can add books, reviews, and update your reading progress. Apart from that, you can add best quote from your reading. What best is that we can choose a lot of publication for every book we add (as long as there is any other member add the publication book).

Like other social website, you can add profile picture, add friend, follow other members, feeds of your following and friends and so on.

This is how it's look in our profile. 

From our collections, the website can recommend suitable books for us. Higher recommendation from the website to me according my registered books are Classics, Crime and Fiction & Fantasy. After registering all my books then I realised that I have read so many classic books. Well actually, it's my current obsession especially with Sherlock Holmes series.

 

Do you wonder how I manage to add most of our book in a day? Because the app allow us to add book by scanning the bar code. Once scanned, the app will search the correct book and we can add it to our account. How fantastic is that! :)
